Maybe you call it New Moon Collage, Luna Collage, Moon Collage. I call it the New Moon SoulCollage® process…
Inspired by this site?
As a mixed-media artist, shamanic astrologer and teacher I trained with Seena Frost, who created the SoulCollage® process. Under the principles and guidelines as a SoulCollage® facilitator I developed this creative body of work (articles, online websites, classes) called the New Moon SoulCollage® process through the New Moon Journal.
I trained with Seena because I loved principles she offered in her book SoulCollage® Evolving, and wanted to collaborate with a larger community of like mind and spirit.
There are many who are inspired by this site and the New Moon SoulCollages®. There are those that adapt the collage process as their own without crediting Seena Frost as the originator.
In my opinion this diminishes Seena Frost’s contribution as a the creator and wisdom-keeper for the SoulCollage® process and also shortchanges the reader/students because that teacher/blogger skipped the training.
Inspired by this website? By all means grab a glue stick and some magazines, jump in and start creating your SoulCollage® cards! Explore and create, write a post about your own process with SoulCollage®.
I do take issue if you cull through my web site and then use the creative ideas that mirror the AsWeConnnect website, New Moon SoulCollage® or the SoulCollage® process. These are copyright issues-what’s right, what’s wrong and it’s just bad karma. I’ll share what my favorite artist Kelly Rae Roberts told her blog readers:
Can I make copies of the instructions you gave in class (or online or in teleclasses) and publish them on my blog, or rewrite them and teach a local class with my version of your instructions?
Absolutely not. it’s wrong, and unprofessional. Please do not copy the instructions from my book or articles, reword them, and distribute them as your own. also, please do not create online videos of what you’ve learned from me and claim them as your own.
What is and is not okay When is it replicating vs. being inspired by my artwork? When have you violated copyright law? Have you crossed the line? Read my thoughts on what is and is not okay. – Kelly Rae Roberts
Are you a blogger and I’ve inspired you? Then I ask for a courtesy link back to the New Moon Journal® when discussing the New Moon SoulCollage® process.
