Dragging my butt around.
Staring off into space.
Sleep chasing me at
every waking moment.

After Hurricane Irma, I surrender to
Long naps.
Tears. Finally, alone for the first time
I vegged out in front of HBO
Watching movies.

“What’s this about?”
Asking that question a teaching pops up.
“Remember the work of Peter Levine, Ph.D?”
Waking the Tiger.
Somatic release.

When an animal is chased by a Tiger
and escapes, it naturally reacts
by releasing the trauma,
the body shakes it off.

Humans try to “out think” the experience.
“I’m fine.”
“There’s nothing wrong.”
“I must go on!”

Awareness lands!
I’m shaking off
the trauma of Irma.
“Sweet Body what would you like?”

Float. I want to float!
Okay. Let’s go.
Wednesday I floated.

Here’s a snap of what it looks like.

Womb. Pod. Landing pad.
I climb in, and close the lid.
Evocative music fades,
The lights dim.

Water, heated just right,
with 100 pounds of Epson salts.
Suspended in Water
Held.
I surrender.
An hour of bliss.
Altered States.

Refreshed.
Renewed.
Back.

Would you like the Harvest Journal Prompts?

Asking you, where are you pushing yourself?

What if you ask
“Sweet Body what do you need from me?”

Today in the North we greet the Autumnal Equinox.

The Sun leaves Virgo today and enters Libra.
Libra is the sign of balance and harmony.
It’s about partnership.
Co-creation.
Collaboration.

I created three (3) journal prompts to work with during the Fall Harvest. What you harvest now, you’ll plant next spring. Intentions. Creativity. Pumpkin spiced lattes.

Would you like to work with the Harvest Journal Prompts?
Yes! then share your name and email address.

Sorry this content will be available again in September 2018.

You can download the first journal prompt right away, and then I’ll send you a new journal prompt each day for three days. My gift for a bountiful harvest of possibilities. I leave you with this quote that spoke to me this week:

“We are called to be architects of the future, not its victims.”
– R. Buckminster Fuller
